Those are VERY good specs... But it has windows XP ... I just hate XP... If it was something like 2003 or 2000... I would rate if excellent...

Thats a horrible pc. YOu can build that the same for 1 grand less or make it even better for the same price if you built it yourself. Trust me building it yourself is not hard.

    My opinion.
I never would go with Alienware, they overprice.
I never would of gone with Intel.
The HDD's are nice and all but I'd get a 150gb Raptor personally.

EDIT: Holy ----, 4k? Thats bull----...but hey, they got people like you wasteing their money I guess.

Over priced. And tech support is horrid. My girlfriend bought one. It has been sent back twice already. In under a year

They are good, i have one and my dad bought a Dell for about 700 and added and changed stuff(not sure what)
And it came to about £1000($2000) which is 200 less then my alienware and i cant see the difference between them :)

Ok, I didn't put horrible or anything down there, because let's face it people, they make good computers. However, I put so-so because they are extremely overpriced. For people who want to get them from a store, along with the technical support and all that, Alienware isn't that bad. However, I would recommend building your own.
