    thats a nice connection ship, last time i checked mine was like
    550 kB/s down
    55 kB/s up

    Most of the speeds u see are in megaBITS, not bytes, and 1byte is 8bits ;) This really confuses most ppl..

    Yeah, i get confused all the time. Funny thing is you never know.. well here anyways. What your speed is actually going to be. To many people using the pipe at one time. Sometimes I get really slow.

    Last Result:
    Download Speed: 450.1 KB/sec transfer rate.
    Upload Speed: 99.3 KB/sec transfer rate.

    See what I mean?

    Mine is awesome, but my ul sucks

    5700-6200 down and 300-400 up supposed to be 700-800 up..

    thats a beastly upload, and you can tell if its bits or bytes by if the b is capitalized, if it is, then its bytes and vise-versa

    Upgrading to 20 Mb Down 1 Mb Up soon

    well, im on road runner its a 7mbps (megabits) connection so its supposed to be 500 KB down, which is what i get on average... they are always upgrading the speed tho :D. but my upload sucks, 40-60 KB so meh... i want somehting higher....

    ermm... The fasted i can download a file is about 2 MEGABYTES per second... but that doesnt last very long, but it does happen :)

    yo check this out. We have a "broad"band cable internet company here back home in PK. It gives us 64kb/s for $30/month. I mean WTF!! and the DSL companies give 128-200 kb/s for the same price. I mean this s--t is fk-- up!!
