It is possible to install a history log so admin can search for key spam words and other words or phase deemed inappropriate or as spam. And what you just said proves how immature the members on GR are that they would not respect any rules made by admin or even stop themselves from acting like dickheads. And who would waste their time hacking GR
1 - I can count all the active members on one hand who have never broken a rule here on GR (read: this doesn't meant they got warned, many people go without warns). Heres a hint: not a single staff member is clean. 2 - Key words / spam filters are fine and dandy, but far from necessary, we have the IRC with a spam bot for this very reason, you can ask any number of them what happens when spam starts occuring. 3 - You would be surprised how often GR goes down due to malicious attacks. Thanks to our administration here we generally get the server back online with only moderate amounts of downtime. Thankfully Llama knew what he was doing when it came to applying security hot fixes for IPB.
