i think flash only looks good when its neccesarry.

Im sorry I dont really like the site too much, the flash is a little pointless, and the overall design is a little weak. But I guess your in the process of making it, so good luck.

the page seems pointless because there really nothing done on it , i cant get the damn volume knob to function , and havent started to integrate separate flash movies into it , so as a stand-alone page as it is now youre definitely right its pretty damn pointless . i need to rethink the layout and come up with a better config ...

but yeah im a musician too , loops made in FL Studio , remixed in Mixman Studio Pro

any takers on makin a new background for it ?

You know that you could've done that without flash, right?

umm..are u insane. Making a flash template is around 10 times harder than making a standard html website. You dont even need to code for a standard html website. Just cut out the temp in photoshop, then add text...

Exactly. Make the iframe image a .gif and animate it with a animation program. Use a preloading script so all the images load at the same time. And you're done. Plus, you don't have to resize the window to make it look good.

The html version would run much smoother. Instead of <a> tags, you could use image maps. That makes it even easier.

hmm i meant its easier to code a spectrum analyzer for me in flash , this aint simple , though it looks that way lol

and try animating gifs when you have no idea what youre doing ...
i used 3ds max to animate the lcd covers opening , and they will close and re-open when you load a new page .

i finally got my volume knob fixed so i can start workin on the flashier ---- .

but yeah i still need a background so if anyones up to makin my site hott , by all means have a go at it .

oh man, do u know ur doing everything completely wrong and extremely inefficiently?

You can make that website in literally 20 mins in flash, you DO NOT need 3DS max to make that slider animation, its just a standard tween, no 3D animation required....I dunno why u wasted ur time with 3DS max for such a simple animation.

You could have actually just put a table in a marquee with the direction up, and instead of loop, make it slide.

well if you knew how 1337 i was in 3ds youd know that you have complete control over the animation in 3ds ...i just dont know that much about flash yet .

im stiching together my knoledge of these programs to accomplish what a standard n00b could not hehe ... guess that nmakes me a 1337 n00b in one way or another .

i got some images for ye to explain why i used 3ds max for .6 minutes to make that slider animation

hmmm, i never said u sucked at 3DS max....i could show you some of the things i make in 3DS max, but i still dont use 3ds max for pointless animations such as a flat square tweening up, thats just pointless and a waste of time, just use flash for simple animation.

if your gonna integrate 3ds max with flash, make sure the animations are actually complex and worth it.
