Well this is my tentative entry for our school's sports page in our yearbook. The theme we were supposed to be going for was a kind of modern contemporary or clean look.

The pictures are just random photos I found when searching sports on google images.
Comments and criticism as well as suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The layout feels kinda sloppy. I honestly don't know how to fix it, but if I was just browsing that is what I would think. Gl with it though =/

Well, on my entry I would make sure that all the edges and things lined up (ie the wrestling picture, the text box and the rugby picture would all line up vertically)

What else do you mean when you say the layout feels sloppy, that I could fix?

I don't wanna sound pessimistic, im not sure what it is that i don't like. I just get a certain feel from it and it could be better. The grey on grey text isn't the best and maybe it just feels thrown together. Ima look at a year book and give you another comment haha.

Looks a little boring to me. I think changing up some of the shapes of the photos would help. You can use a swoosh of pictures to get some nice composition, like you have, but I don't like it as is.

Well, I changed the format a little bit, and I think it looks a bit neater:
