Xbox Mod Chip Help

ill make this detailed because im on dialup and it sucks


i have a xenium gold mod chip
when boot up the chip it turns green indicating that it is working but the mod chip screen does not show up.
its not the cable that is the problem because when i take the mod chip out basically when the modchip boots up it doesnt show up on the screen

if any 1 has any ideas that can help me all my creds will go to them i know its not alot but its some


and if this isnt allowed just close it

 

don't you have to soder that thing on? i dont think you could take it off that easily...

 

What kind of mod chip did you buy? Maybe some pictures and is it a solder or just cable mod chip?

 

its for the xbox and its a xenium gold chip and its not saudered

 

Did you install the new dashboard yet? eg. Evolution X?
If you havent, you have to otherwise it wont work. YOu can download packs that set it up for you from a bootable disk, I can point you in the right direction if required.

 

everything is installed it just randomly stopped showing up on the screen when i boot up the mod chip

 

Have you locked the hard drive? If you havent chuck it into your pc and see if actually works.

 

im on vacation i cant do that all i have is my laptop

 

Does the standard microsoft dashboard boot up?

 

no nothing shows up on the screen

 

I suspect a dead hdd or the gfx card in it died. How long did you have it for.

i think the chip ----ted out but ill have my brother look at it wheni get back home

 

Ok,
when you get back home chuck your hard drive into your pc and if it works then its either the xbox or chip. Oh and turn it on by pressing the eject button and tell me what it does.

 

so, has this mod chip worked at all so far?
Is it installed with a solderless adapter?
Does it give an error code?
Try booting the chip on different bios banks with the switch and see if you can get a picture.

 

does the same thing happen when u remove the mod chip
