Not sure if this topic was already made but thought I'd post it up. Does anyone here have Xbox Live then? Especially anyone in Europe? I don't like to play with non-europeans anymore because Americans are generally very racist towards other countries. The ammount of racial abuse I've received from Americans is just frightening. I've got my own Xbox Live clan for UK gamers only, so if you're from the UK you may interested in checking it out; www.clanedge.co.uk. =) So anyway, list your gamertags here and I'll add some of you so we can have some games together in future, I made a new gamertag (Nemphtis) so my friends list only has 83 people, so help me fill it up more! ~Nemph
im from america and i must say i agree with you... not really abuse but in the wee hours of the morning many people from europe get on.. and people make fun of the accents.. im srry it makes all of us americans looks like ----
Yeah because of teh timezone difference, when we get on it's usually about 4am-6am for people down the West. It's very annoying talking to your friend while there's an American or some other foreig person trying his best to imitate you for no reason whatsoever. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't just blame Americans, and I'm not generalising people but the bottom line is 95% of the abuse I get is from Americans so from my experience I would say they are the most racist people I have met. Because of this abuse, nowadays most of us English are starting to be quite racist too, which is sad. Some people think they should be racist right back at Americans so in the end Xbox Live as a community is going to get very bitter. I mean forget the accent but why do Americans think that us English talk like this: "Hello there old chap! Can you pass me my tea! Because it's tea time, old boy!" etc. ? People havn't been talking like that since the first world war, and what is this obsession Americans have about us drinking tea all the time? What programs do you guys watch to get such ideas, because from what I've heard on Live, Americans couldn't tell the different between London and Berlin if both cities were shoved down his throat. /end of rant.
Im from Australia so its worse. When I get on its usually bout 7am in britain but 2 am in the US of A. Also what games do you play, because maybe we could have a scrim? well americans are very arrogant and bitchy.. they find it funny to make fun of people... me and my friends were playing a group of italian guys.. and they thought it was funny to mock them.. the italian guys kicked the ---- out of us.. and funny thing is most americans expect people from britan to sound like they have a heavy accent, and some of them do.. i dont know why, bleh its not funny to me btw my tag is Cap Moroni
well im aussie and i want to get x-box live but need some details. ive been told that you have to buy broadbane modem and connect to you x-box and ive also been told that your x-box has a wirless modem in it which one is the right one, maybe its different for me becuase i live in australia but i dont know. Also you have to buy some pack i want to know how much it cost and what it comes with and how much to play per year or per month or what ever they charge. it might be hard as you are mostly americans but is there a website or somthing i can get info from?
well i'm american and i play Halo2 and Mech Assualt Lone Wolf. and i agree about the abuse i say that people who do ---- like that should be banned. gamertag = hypnolik (goin to get changed) to hypnotik soon
If your clan directory is only based on clans based in the UK & Australlia or something, then I'd be interested. But I have no business with American clans. ----------------- If you're interested, check out the About Us & Join Us sections of our website to learn anthing you need about the clan and how to join it. ----------------- Some do have heavy accents, but that's like the posh people such as Tony Blair etc, ----------------- Go to the official xbox site (xbox.com) and go to the Live section. There are several differeny ways you can connect yourself to Live and it explains what those ways are and how to do them mate.

well i went to the website and i got some info but not every thing i need can you tell me if i can hook up my ADSL modem to my x-box and use that?
