Well i just switched to some gay ass rcn cable. and now my xbox live wont work. i still plug the cable thingy into the routour and it doesnt work ! it wont pass the network test. and it sucks ! so the worst part is. i called xbox customer support. the lady said, just go see if it works at your friends house, if it doesnt, call us back. WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT IS THAT ! does anyone have any idea what i could possibly do? or why it wont work? GREATLY APPRECIATED. but i doubt this topic will get any replies =D
Seriously, who has friends these days? .. what a bitch. However, I suggest you do just what she said..quick way to eliminate if it's a machine problem, and it takes a whole of 5mins. Or you could have just lied and said it works fine on your friends XBOX?
You mean router as in wireless router? If so, unplug your router and insert the cable from your Xbox straight into your modem if you have one.
