As i continue to add onto my car, and burn my money , i thought of hiding the console and being able to run the disc through my Deck... I had 2 ideas to accomplish this: 1) Put the DVD Drive in place of the deck and have the wires run down under the flooring to the console under the seats... The only problem i have with this is that the tray will come out in order to have the disc inserted... Not that its a big problem but i want it to have more of a deck-like feel 2) Gut one of my old decks and put the DVD drive's insides into it. The problem with this is; i dont know much about actual xbox inners... A solution to this could be hiring someone to purchase a car-deck and setting it all up, then shipping it to me, but this could get pretty pricey The downside to all of this is that i lose my radio, but i rarely use it, and im pretty interested in buying Sirius Radio. Some other problems i may come across are; - wire lengths(grey wire, and the yellow) - music choosing(have to use a controller to change it) As for LCD Screens, i dont know how i would wire it to that either... so what im asking is: - Is the idea possible? - If so, which is the best solution? - If it is possible, how difficult do you think it would be? Please feel free to point out other things i may have left out that you notice i would need to complete this 'project'.
both options are good bur one seems better with a little patience and long wires u could easily do it
