alrighty, (Flashback) --- If u all remember the system called "dreamcast" you would know that it sucked. Well dreamcast had supose to compete with ps2 xbow and gamecube. The thing with it was the graphics werent all that great but. What really messed things up was that the makers of Dreamcast decided to release Dreamcast before ps2 and xbox came out. While doing so this screwed up the sales of the dreamcast because, they didnt "Show off " there system before the released it. This is exactly wat happend to the ps3 , 360 and nintendo revolution. They learnt from the exampls of what happend to dreamcast. Well aparently not, Xbox 360 is being released at the end of this year. Just like dreamcast did Xbox is being released much earlier than ps3 and nintendo revloution. So after Xbox is released ps3 and nintendo can fix there ---- on how there gona release their systems. This well mess up xbox and its gona go down the drain ( thats right i hope xbox dies , cause it sucks). Basically what im saying is that Xbox is releasing there system way before the other ones are being released. THere gona follow the same path that Dreamcast followed and get f'ked up. THis isnt true this is just my opinion cause i hate Xbox. But it could happen. (sorry for grammer i was in a rush)
the 360 was rushed...it could of been better if they had taken more time...that is y i think ps3 will be better...ps3 took more time in putting the stuff into it...they created a new type of processor and GPU for it...and was more thought out...and because of the release date it gives more time for game developers to make games for it so then there will be far more titles released when it does come out...plus all the ps2 games will be playable...so it has a far wider range of games
lol i hope the 360 gets screwed, just like that dreamcast I bought...waste o cash...tony hawk was good tho Favorite game i ever bought ~Ryan
I've seen many videos from games on both systems, and PS3 has way better graphics, but I do like the look of 360, and the wireless controllers. Nintendo Revolution will be good also.
The Dreamcast sucked? Did you even own one? Or play some of AAA titles that appeared on the system? The graphics sucked? I don't think so, they held up to PS2 pretty nicely (Soul Calibur anyone?). First system with Online capability, bringing console gamers online with games like Q3, UT and PSO. Also able to browse the web as well. For it's time it was ahead of anything else. Sony doesn't to this day have the online community the Dreamcast had. For various reasons it "failed", that does not deminish the power of the system or the ideas and content it brought to the Console market. Sega, at the time was not able to compete with the behemoth of Sony. Comparing Sega and it's Dreamcast to Microsoft and it's 360 is not the best comparision one can make. Sega at the time is no where near the company Microsoft is. With it massive assets and infamous name Microsoft was able to take huge losses to combat Sony and gain market ground, where as Sega just didn't have the bank roll for that. With the 360, Microsoft has a system that on paper seems pretty powerful and though not up the PS3's numbers, it by no means will be blown away. With it's name, and massive bank roll Microsoft has already guaranteed success, that does not mean they will eclipse Sony as far as market share. But the 360 will be successful. With Franchises like Halo, and developers like Rare and Bioware behind them, there is not doubt the 360 will be able to compete with Sony and it's sleek and powerful PS3. Another factor is the price. It is rumored that the 360 will launch at 300-$350, while it's said the PS3 will launch at $400+, and at that price sony will be taking losses. Alot of parents will pick the 360 for their children based on price alone. That shouldn't make that big of a dent in the Sony Machine though. With it's popular Playstation brand and market forces, and the mature age of it's customer base I assume the PS3 will retain the title of Top Dog in the console wars. As for Nintendo, I don't really don't know. While I enjoy a few of Nintendo's first party games (Zelda, Pikmin, MarioCart etc), I think they will have to settle for 3rd place again. Being kept afloat by their handheld systems alone does not bold well for their console side of things. I truly hope no one company fails. The more competition the better. It was a sad day that Sega droped out of the console market. I hate the "Fanboy" mindset, it's childish and idiotic. At the end of the day, it's about the games and not the console their played on. Mr. Bunnies - Peace
haha thats funny the specs in ps3 are better and xbox rushed the release ps3 took there time and ps3 will definatley outsell xbox360
