Xbox 360 Red Ring Of Death

    I got that like...wednesday....My dad wanted to play some vegas, so I turned it on and wham... 3 flashing red lights...

    Oh well...I'm not mad for two reasons...

    1. I knew it was going to eventually happen.

    2. Kinda surprised it happened on the same day it happened to the one at Walmart and on the day I rented The Number 23(which was pretty cool btw)

    So yea, anyone else had this happen to you?

    happened to me got a new one,
    since ms upgraded the warranty to 3 years there all(i believe)under waranty.
    i just called up they sent me a box i sent it in and got a new 360

    I got mines back 3 days ago after having it sent away for the 3 red lights. Took about 17 days but they ended up just sending me a brand new 360 :D
    Was annoying though.

    Red ring of death? Sounds like something that I encounter the morning after a huge curry...

    lol, yea its when three of the four console lights blink red.

    Basically it means your ------ed...

    does the warrenty come when you buy the xbox or do you have to register it

    I think Microsoft extended the the warranty on all 360's to 3 years. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

    ive heard about that before, thats another reason why ill be getting a ps3 this Christmas

    Happened to me as well but I had a launch 360.

    Btw, it's just 3RoD, not Ring of Death because it's only 3 lights. Makes like 3/4 of a ring. :P

    oh no this is true. I went to my cousins house thinking we was going to play some 360 all day... Ended up giving us the Red lights... Sent the 360 in around 7/28. My cousin said he should be getting his back this friday... He also said they are giving him one with a different serial number xD so basically the wait was for nothing than.. They should have sent in a new one from the start
