    that happend to my friend when he bought a new game it said to update the console in order to play, then there was the 3 lights.. I couldnt stop laughing while he was on the phone :lol:

    buy a ps3 :tongue:

    lmao, come to think of it my 360 started to screw up after updating it to play madden 07..Thats still not enough of a reason for me to switch to ps3. :D

    I have a PS3 as well so I'll be playing that while mine gets repaired. :lol:

    When it happened to me, it was on the same day that it happened to the one in WalMart AND the day I rented The Number 23 >.>

    o_O

    But yea, its caused by the overheating "kind of" melting critical hardware solder points and when it cools they don't set right.

    All they do to fix it is put in a special ventilation thing thats already in the Elite and newer consoles.
