Xbox 360 Help

I've got a problem with my 360. 4 lights always come up when i switch on my xbox 360. How do i send it back to get repaired? Do i take it back to the store i bought it off and get them to send it back or do i do something else? Help please.

 

take it back to the store with the receipt and change it for a new one

 

Where do the lights come on, on the screen or within the XBOX? becuase pc's and quite likely the xbox use led codes to signify problems

The lights are red. And thx for your help. i've worked out what i have to do.
