Well to make the text, it's pretty simple. First you click on the "Aa" icon on the left tool column, or press Alt + T. Then type in whatever you want. You can insert a second line of text by pressing the page break button (the diamond, top right). All the options to fool around with the look of the 3d text is on the right. Color---etc---Animation. If you are just using it for exporting to Photoshop, you don't need to worry about animation I guess... You can also change some of the settings just by dragging on certain areas of the actual 3d model. Textures can also be added from their texture library or ones you have stored on your computer. I would recommend using your own since theirs kind of suck. Once you get a texture (I recommend desaturating first...) you can add color to it by checking the "Tint" box. Then pick your color.. And to export to Photoshop: Do you have Xara Xtreme? It's a lot easier if you have both Xara 3D6 and Xara Xtreme --- (or I think there is another one...I forget what it is though). If you have Xara Xtreme, you can copy the text you make in 3DS to Xtreme just by basic Copy and Paste commands. Then you can copy and paste from Xtreme to Photoshop. Well, hope I helped a little... I'm still learning how to use it too.
