Ok, i have emailed this guy and hes ansewred and told me alot of things, but it stil hasnt helped. This is how it goes.

I need a 40x40 icon for the good-tutorials website for " add a tutorial ". Well anyways for some reason NONE of my 40x40 icons will work in it even if i make it in photoshop and save it with quallity of 0 or 1... ANd yes, im saving it as JPG. But anyways he told me something about you must shrink it to 40x40. So i took a screeenshot, cutout the toolbar, shrunk that to 40x40. Still didnt work.

Was wondering if anyone here ever submited a tutorial and could help me with this problem. He told me to ask other people.

    Thanks :)

What error message are you getting when you submit it? Is it a "file size over 7000 bytes" one or something different?

    Can't, must be JPG.

The way I've been doing it is save the file as a .jpg, then go to "Save for Web" and save it again. I've been able to get it down to anywhere between 1k and 4k, no problems. Just be sure to make it a .jpg in the "Save for Web" window.

Let me know if you have any more ?? or need more clarification.

no, no. After you click "Save for Web", but before you click "Save" in the window. Look to the top right and there's a drop down box to switch between gif, jpg, png...

    See?

    Try that
