Irrel stoppped posting recently, but he's probaly going to show up again. Hell had a little post or two about a month ago but has preety much left and i'm not sure about Flames.

Not all "great" artists release great work.

 

I try and sell a tag by immune and it wont sell. And its better then alot of EBKs tags or BLTs tags thats gay

I agree.. not nice cause having a name on a sig doesnt give any advantage what so ever..

 

Same thing for tutorials. I've seen people sell much better tutorials then this "pro" bs for about 20 credits and still get so little sellers. Then you see a tutorial made by "airius" * Not picking on Airius just seems to be the most common so dont take this personally anyone * and lets say its just like 5,000 pixels long and has like one c4d and the rest is adjustment. Yes Ive seen these sold and for 50 credits <_<

We may not like it but sadly name does sell. People are always going to follow trends to be cool and try to be in the in crowd, though I never really understood that over the internet. Like the whole "crew" thing but thats a different story.

cause im tired of buying sigs and depending on who made it or the tutorials as Yondaime said.. its not nice.

 

Hmm, along the line some guys who are not pros make a mess in the tuts. I bought a few tuts all messed up, I am sure that others had the same experience too. Everytime i see something from someone i dont know i dont buy it coz i dont want to give my creds away for free. Once i bought a tut and it had nothing but only C4Ds.

 

lots of artists dont get accredited for their work. im saying look at some of the filmakers at the sundance fest. that don't get anything

 

well its funny lol, i wouldnt buy something just bcos its label, i buy becaus i like the lok of it

 

I think that Broken has a good point.......my gf is studying art at University and well she has to try and sell some of her stuff, she finds it hard becasue she is not been identified. Its same with music which could b classed as art i guess....when a band is unsigned people do not buy their albums and those who are they do.
