I just recently got my CS Condition Zero to work. I came home today and started it up online, was playing for about 20 seconds then it just froze and crapped out.

The day before it was running fine.

My pc is Dell 2400, 256 MB of RAm, P4 CPU 2.40GHZ, and and NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 grafix card with 128mb memory.

On my local disk I have 37.2GB and there is 8.58GB of space left

I just wanna know what the deal is all the sudden. Is there not enough ram or something...but the ting was it was running perfect yesterday

I wouldn't know, but one thing is for sure, you need more ram for everything in general. you can buy half a gig for between 30-50$ and you will get a huge performance boost.

it could be a problem with counter-strike itself and not your computer if it was working yesterday. Either just restart steam or your computer or wait a few hours and see if it works again

Go to nvidia.com and update your driver for your graphic card. The newest one issued was Sept 2, 2005. If problem persists, re-install DirectX 9. If problem still continues perform a disk cleanup and a disk defragment to free up space (basically increase overall computer performance). Yet again, if problems persists, re-install CS:CZ.

    Hope that helped.

p.s Call the CS:CZ help line, there should be a number on the box, if you need any assistance. The support phone number should also be printed on CD itself.
