my friend recently was told that she got the keylogger virus and to watch ur account cuz as other people have been found by a mailbox with nothin all items are sold and money sent to someone else.
i was wondering if this has a happened to anyone and/or to tell u have it or how to remove it

Well to delete a key logger, first you have to find it. Simply scan your computer. Then your virus protector should automatically delete it. Simple as that.

 

my norton hasnt picked it up and ive updated and scan recently

 

most anti virus programs dont pick up key loggers

 

yeah it happened to my friend who had a GM hunter....they stole all of his arcanite, which was ALOT becuz this was his alt and they jacked his money too

 

There's a sticky about it on the WoW forums somewhere. My suggestion would be to post a thread on the General Forums asking the same question, since a lot of people there have dealt with the same problem.

 

Just gotta scan your computer every week, and use Trusted scanners...
