i installed this driver yesterday so i can get my sound to work because it wasnt workin right, i dl'd it from the ati.com site and when i installed, told me to restart comp and now my comp is slow as ----, it takes 4ever to do something, is there a way to fix it, i was thinkin about erasing my whole computer and do any u guys have any suggestions fixing this, i tried unistalling it but i dunno wat the ---- the driver or w/e is called
You should have went onto Windows Update first and check if MS had the sound driver there - I download my drivers there coz saves me the hassle Hmm...If u using XP...to uninstall go into Control Panel >System>Hardware Tab>Device Manager. And expand Sound,Video & Game COntrollers. Look for the sound drivers (should be the make/model name and then states Audio Device). Right click on uninstall. Then restart computer go into windows update and see if they have the suitable driver
You can right click my computer and click on manage. Then go to your sund card and roll back the driver. Should go back to your old one.
