The other day a bunch of us guys were sitting around the firehouse. We hadn't had any calls for like the past 3 days. No medical calls, no fire calls, nothing. Well we are just sitting around and our tones drop and the station is alerted for a House fire. We didnt think much of it because of the location on the house and Dispatch advised it was an automatic fire alarm (those usually turn out to be nothing) So we all gear up and get 2 Engines out right after dispatch. As we are approaching the house I happen to turn around and see smoke coming up over the trees. IT WAS ACTUALLY ON FIRE! So I hurry up and get my bottle on and as we pull up I look at the house and see fire just blowing out of the basement. I was like HOLY POOP! Me and my good buddy Jeff grab the Quick Connect of the side and head straight for the side entrance to the basement. The truck guys popped the basement door and as soon as they did fire was right in my face. I opened the nozzle and started marching through that basement. It got so hot that my face mask was starting to melt to my face, but we pressed on. Fire was to my left, right, above me.... It was crazy. So after about 10 Minutes into it we get the fire knocked down. We start backing out of the basement and we get outside. My Gear was all charred up and such, IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME! That was the most intence fire I have ever fought.... The really sad part is that the girl that lived there, I went to school with, we dated and uhhhh YOU KNOW! lol So now she has to stay with hewr aunt. Anyway the moral of this story is dont light candle in you basement and let your dog knock them over ( That was the cause). The End
Flamey for Essay Specialist! Uhh.. Pretty cool, I guess. I was so bored I actually read it. So what? Wanna fight? (family guy)
We can throw down! Pulls out beat up gloves from the 1950's. "My dad killed a man with these gloves, and now you shall die to" *cue mortal kombat theme music*
way to spoil my fun, i was just about to ask my dog to kick over a burning candle in my basement but anyway, it sounds fun, i love fire, i treat it as a friend now...
bahahahaha! Well as long as its your friend I dont see a problem with your dog kicking the candle over.
Yes the dog is okay. Following the candle knocking it decided to exit the home via the doggy door upstairs.
