I brought up the point earlier that even if it doesn't mean he's a jew hate, it still brings off the same message. Thats not what he intends it to mean but hey, people still see it that way. So therefor, those names are in essance the exact same thing BFTP has. It may be an inside joke but it still pisses people off cause the majority of people don't know its true meaning. That doesn't mean its right to have that name.

 

Dont get me wrong in anything I say below, I do appreciate the work the mods/smods/admins do on this site, its part of the reason im so active here.

Personally I havnt talked to either of them in detail, so this is coming from a purely forum based opinion, but Holla, despite some rude remarks, tends to be a jokester and I do enjoy a few of his posts.

Andrew, like any person in a position of power on 99.9% of the sites I go to, tends to be stubborn and gets his way despite what anyone says. He is a mod and it IS his perogative to do his job and although we dont see why he does certain things, just as anyone else has said, he gets his job done. Some choices he as well as the other mods are misunderstood by us.

Its pretty simple to say that Holla deserves to be banned. He has has 10 warnings on one account (which is 7 more than I allow on my sites, as I also IP ban accounts when they are banned as well so they will not come back). Now if Andrew/BFTP indeed did delete the thread (it wasnt another mod or something) then yes, he is abusing his position of power to better his reputation.

If I remember correctly Andrew/BFTP has been brought up previously as abusing his position of power and isnt liked by a lot of the people on this site from that.

I ask, above all else, that you people defending him and attacking him take a step back, after reading what I have said and continue to talk in an intellgent, level headed, non-one sided attitude. Take a look at both sides before you judge where you stand in this.

Personally I think Holla and BFTP are both good guys and one of them just happens to be doing his job and some people are overly enraged by some of his actions as they dont understand them. Before you all start attacking him, let him reply with his reasoning behind deleting the topic. Its obvious why Holla was banned, so we just wont go there.

 

Threads regarding large subjects of interest or something that needs the attention of other global moderators/admins are not deleted. They are 'archived', a place where only staff can see. As i've proven, by bringing the thread back.

I didn't archive it, nor was i even on today - so go find another scapegoat.
