Ok so I just had this preceding thought on "What would the world be like if I had a different name?" So i decided to post it up here and see what everyone thinks about it. In all honesty, I've had recurring thoughts about changing my name to Edmond Dantez. Yes I am a huge huge huge fan of The Count Of Monte Cristo - a bit too fanboyish of me to even think about changing it though. But what are your thoughts? Would you ever legally change your name?
I have thought about it, mainly because I hate my last name, and had no end of ---- about it while I was in school. But, I'm older now, and just think it would be a waste of time.. Plus, I'm me.. Changing my name seems like a want to change my identity, and although there are lots of things about me that I personally would change, I still wouldn't change it.
My name is Sean White I want something more original, so yea for the past 2 years I've wanted to change my first or last name to Mufasa.
Yeah i want to change my last name as its not said how its spelt which is fing annoying how would i go about doing this? (UK)
I'm in the same boat as you. I've thought about changing my last name a lot because it's pronounced differently from how it's spelled and nobody ever gets it right. So if I were to change my last name I'd change it to the way it's more commonly spelled (and less commonly mispronounced)
I'm fine with my name. bit on the long side but I'll survive. Christopher Michael Anderson noone has ever really been able to find a way to mock it so yeh... well unless you count the time during state testing... apparently there aren't enough spaces for Christopher... so to the state of California, my name is Christoph... then again i joke about that more than anyone else
