If you had developed a style in tags that will produce a 100% nice result no matter what, and UNWHORED.

Would you make a tut for that?

nope, because then it would become whored, and you would want to change style again.

I'd probably try, but then remember I hate making tuts, so, it'd all even out :P.

id make about 10 tags, sell full rights, make tuts, and as soon as the tags sell, put the tuts out

Wouldn't make a tut..once you find your own unique style, it's dumb to sell it and in turn, have it whored by everyone.

Yeah, you wouldn't want everybody whoring your own uniwue style so I'd say keep it to yourself.

I would not make a tut, I would sell PSD's and Signatures. I don't want to see my style everywhere (when i decide to make my own and not whore everyone elses :P)

You guys are making it sound like you've found the secret to some long lost treasure, and are now going to horde it up....
But w/e 99% of these "new styles" have already been done anyway; there are simply too many people doing digital art to think that you've discovered somthing completely original.

If you feel that you have somthing new to teach by creating a tutorial... somthing you honestly feel may give people a better understanding of what they're creating and how it's created, and don't mind spending the time to do so, then by all means, make it. I'm sure many people would greatly appreciate it.

If others wish to imitate you, that's their decision to do so; and can generally be done whether or not you give them a step by step or not.
All it means is that they're fond of the outcome. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, after all...
Still, by copying others and not using your own creativity you're only limiting yourself. Do things b/c you want to, not b/c of it being what's popular or b/c of what other people will think; you and your art will be better for it.
