Grats man, but be warned - 2D to 3D is a bit more of a step up than you'd think ;)

I could not stress this enough, tackling Sarth+2D was pretty simple compared to the jump to Sarth+3D, there is little-no room for error with Sarth+3D, and if someone does screw up, it puts that much more stress on the others. Its a tough fight, hopefully you guys can pull it off, GL!

oh my god at that ui.

and well, my guild kinda failed this week. went from sarth +2d last week to sarth + 0d this week, such fail. too many tards can't manage to move out of firewalls/void zones. don't see what's so hard about it ><

Pros hide all of their buttons because they've memorized their binds

My last UI simple had unit frames, minimap and raid stuff... but I didn't really care too much for the aesthetics. Not to mention I don't like CD bars, I much prefer numerics on buttons for my CDs.

Though, my current UI would be useless if it wasn't for Power Auras Classic, because I can't be arsed to monitor CDs (bottom of the screen), monitor buffs (which is very important as a DK), watch the encounter and continue a priority rotation like I run.

As a druid the amount of CDs I need to show is minimal (Bash, Shadowmeld, Rebirth, trinkets, Innervate etc) so I have a small bar with about 25% opacity and OmniCC running in the very bottom of my screen to keep track of CDs. Hardly effective for other classes however, I'm sure.

Yeah we actually had people admitting to getting hit by lava waves on sarth because of having to glance to the bottom of their screen to see how their CDs are going. Most of my stuff is keybound, some stuff I find it easier to click a trinket or something when needed. I recently bought a Razer Copperhead so I could hotkey(is that the term?) more to my mouse, mostly gonna be used for arena, stuns and such.

Yeah, for a DK, every move is a cooldown.

During a typical rotation against a single target boss as my current PTR spec I use...

    Icy Touch
    Plague Strike
    Blood Strike
    Obliterate
    Howling Blast (10s CD)
    Frost Strike
    Unbreakable Armor (1M CD)
    Blood Tap (2m CD)
    Empower Rune Weapon (3m CD)
    Death Chill (2m CD)
    AotD (20m CD)
    Ghoul (2m CD)

Then variant on the fight I have 2 taunts (yes, DPS can taunt some fights to give the tank a couple of free seconds from hits), AMS, 2 interrupts with CDs.

While doing this I need to constantly watch my buffs for things like Freezing Fog (rime, free HB), Killing Machine (because I time my frost strikes to hit during KM uptime if possible), Reflection of Torment (MoT), Unholy Strength (RotFC), and Heart of a Dragon (SoRDB) to better optimize my UA uptime for maximized DPS.

Needless to say, I have a lot of CDs, a lot of buffs to look out for, and quite a lot of buttons to press in comparison to most other classes. Also, as the SS shows, I run in Unholy Presence, which is a 1 second GCD, not a 1.5s, so my keyboard turns into a machine gun as I am button mashing all over it and that means my runes are almost constantly on cooldown, so it is important to know which abilities are able to be used and which buffs are up.

I would suggest binding your PvP trinket ;)

    I bound all my spells to 1-5, Q, E, R, F, Z, X, C, V and Shift+ variants of all of those. PvP trinket is 5 ;p
