For losing weight, fasting is one of the most overlooked methods. It's completely healthy for your body and you won't gain the entire weight back as long as you know how to break the fast (i.e. don't eat pizza and cake the day you stop. Most people who have a lot of body fat that they need to lose are usually pretty good at maintaining their weight. I personally did a juice fast and lost 70 pounds in 3 months. In case you're wondering, I have no loose skin or stuff like that.
Normally most people use the term detox, but it's essentially the same thing. You really don't want to do it for more than a week or two MAX, otherwise it can have negative impacts on your health, but it's an awesome way to kickstart weight loss. I did one a few months back and lost 10kgs in 2 weeks.
I actually did the juice fasting that goku mentioned. I lost about two pounds a day the first three days until all foods were out of my system, then started losing 3-4 pounds a day the next five days. I stopped after that. All in all I lost 18 pounds over eight days. I also run or bike (real bike) for half an hour to an hour every night and lift weights at least five times a week. Now I am back to eating my normal crap (not so much of it) and I am staying at a relatively even weight. You should consider the juice fast, it makes you feel great, you hardly feel hungry, and you can make some awesome juice concoctions. Orange juice + Grapefruit juice + Lemon juice + Cinnamon is great.
if you really want to loose weight, you should do a fight sport .. like boxing that will drop off the pounds in no time, and it will get you into VERY good shape going to the gym will get you results but not nearly as fast as boxing I've been going to the gym for about 1,5 years now and i gained ALLOT of muscles but i still have lots of fat, I've done kick boxing for 1 year and during that year i felt GREAT i was in good shape and felt more powerful I'll be doing boxing after the summer vacation to loose weight and get into good shape
Epic Failguy, please repost with an update of what you are doing, what you need help with, etc, I don't wanna go through all 5 pages, but I'll give some general tips. 1. I saw the eating like a cow post. I do this! But, I am healthy about it, and it is totally fine! Of course I'd like to gain weight but I really only maintain.. If you eat healthy, but in large amounts, then you should be okay. But, it all comes down to caloric intake being less than how much you burn. I burn enough for eating like a cow to equal out. 2. 5-8 smaller meals a day. I can give more tips on this in depth if you want diet help. 3. High Fructose Corn Syrup = Bad 4. When buying bread and such, get the real whole wheat. It'll just say whole wheat, it wont say Rolled, enriched, whitened, etc. 5. How many days are you going to work out? 6. Do you want to just lose weight or get bigger muscle? 7. Got a routine already? post it.

Diet: - EAS Whey Protein in the morning - 6 meals throughout the day - protein before workout - protein after workout
Longer cardio will help you lose weight faster. I personally run to my friends house (about 15 minutes), get my back and ride back to my house then back to his house (about 20 minutes) then run back to my house (15 more minutes). This allows you to maintain a heart workout while not tiring out a single part of your legs.
