Anyone had this problem? I've never had it before On my work computer I have Photoshop CS3...At home I have CS4 I been designing a new portfolio on my work one, I took it home yesterday and it said Can't open in this version of Photoshop I've always done stuff from CS3 then do it later in CS4 etc - don't know if I saved it wrong or something? Normal PSD Anyone had this problem?
Really? I don't get that error. I can open all files with CS3 even though I started with CS4. Or maybe mine is just a.... shifty.... version....
If you're inferring that you got a "free" version, thats the only problem I could really think of. Moving from CS3 to CS4 shouldn't give you any issues, I had to do it for school a couple times and didn't have issues.
I have no idea what it is - might just be my USB stick I worked on a design all day yesterday at work - saved/worked on it directly from my USB stick Took it home - gave me an error, isn't compatible with this version Came back to work this morning to work on it more - I couldn't open it on my work computer that I was working on it yesterday. Gave me some version error So I'm guessing it is my USB fucking up - started on it again and this time worked/saved it on my desktop - will transfer to USB later ;p
Maybe you're running a portable version with some main files missing from the cut-down portable edition.
