Wmv To Gif

hi all.. im wanting to convert a part of a wmv file to .gif file.... anyone knows a good way to do that... without buying an expensive program?

 

this is what i do go to camstasia.com or sumthing like that get the trial open the video in itunes and record it a little cheap but it works

k thanks m8... i tried to record im Windows media player.. but that doesnt work... im trying itunes now...

 

yea it only works mostly with quicktime files
other players dont usually work

did it work on itunes?

 

convert to avi

open in imageready

save as gif
