I was sitting around yesterday and somehow we were talking about Classic Disney movies. When the "Wizard Of Oz" movie came up. We began to talk about how there is a scene were you can see one of the Munchkins hangs himself right after they start on the yellow brick road when meeting the scare crow. Curious If anyone believes its real or not ...most videos around the internet just show a big bird not a man or his shadow hanging himself. -Blaze
Interesting, Ive never heard about that. Anyone know f this is true? I doubt it is, Disney probably would do this, But there is still that slight chance.
Well Disney supposedly edited the newer releases after finding out about the hanging. If you look at any video it just a huge bird...I'm not seeing the hanging lol.
I know what you're talking about . I went back and watched where they're going into the forest and you see the "hanging". It's really just an ostrich... How a ------ing ostrich got into the studio....who knows....
Well, Old movies like that always carried secret messages/pictures that the Directors/Editors tried to sneak in. Take the whole "SEX" spelled out in the grass on the movies Lion King. Although I have never seen that specific part of the Wizard of Oz, I'll be sure to look out for it. Sounds interesting
 That sounds really er...creepy. I'll have to borrow my parent's copy and check it out for myself. But not even Disney can catch and censor out everything, anyone have an old copy of the Little Mermaid? Watch the part where the prince is marrying Ursula, and keep your eye on the priest particularly his lower half
this topic is over 20years late.....yes it is true, in the original filming of it, a man was killed...but it wasnt discovered til the production was finished......the newer/remastered versions have the scene cut out
Wow, this is kinda freaky, but a lot of things like this happen all the time on film sets. Even recording studios for albums, because in the 'Rollercoaster of Love' song by the 'Ohio players', you can hear a scream, which is apparently a female ghost because she was murdered in the studio or some crap like that, but the scream is clearly audible and very freaky.
