    Hey Everyone

Can someone tell me please how i can encrypt my wireless network as i think people connecting to it, because i am getting tons of un normal lagg for some reason.

The stupid WEP key is crappy because i know that you can easily hack it byt software or making your own loop programme to guess the digits quite easily.

Can someone help me find out how to make sure its 100% locked (except my own laptop)

    Thanks

Yeah, WEP is a wrothless piece of crap. Look into WPA encrytion, and also set up mac address filtering, so only the mac address from your lappy can connect to it.

Well, for increased security, switcing to WPA encryption could help.

However, if you want your wi-fi only accesible through your laptop, and your laptop alone, you could try setting your network onto 'MAC Addresses'...So you can only connect to the internet through specified systems. It's not bulletproof, no, but it can really help, and is a block to anyone who's just casually trying to connect to your wi-fi.

Edit: lol, Leet just beat me. x_x
