I have this card on my laptop that like steals my neighbors internet.. or should i say lets me "borrow" his... so anyways, i need the same thing for my desktops so im looking for something not so expensive but yet powerfull enough, i got my laptop card for 20 bucks and the signal is on low-lowest so maybe something bit more powerful since the ones for the desktops have a antenna

So you basically want a wireless card for your computer? Well whats slots do you have open? (AGP, PCI?) And do you want an inside card or a USB adapter?

They eventually cut off your supply if your 'borrowing' your neighbors i had a wireless and thats exactly what they did.

doesnt matter internel or external. I have pci and I just need the internet for about 2-3 weeks anyway until my cable company installs the wires in my new house...
