Winnt/system32/config/system File Currupt

    So ive been running windows 2000 ------, for like 4 years now and its worked great for the most part. But for some reason last night my brother left world of warcraft open and the computer went on standby mode (like it ussually does) when i tried to make it come back it didnt, so i tried restarting and to my surprise i got this error

    Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: /WINNT/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM

    I cant reformat because thats where i have all my psds and tutorials and stuff. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

    Only thing you can do is find a replacement of the file

    OR

    Back your files on CDRW and reformat
