ok, this is wha you do, you find a friend with a working computer and some extra hardrive space. you remove your hardrive and put it in his comp. on his, boot up window and then transfer all of your important files and whatnot into a seperate folder on his hardrive. reformat and do a fresh install retreive/transfer backed up data from friend
Well ... what I was gonna do ... was buy another hard drive ... install windows on it ... then transfer the file i was missing to my existing hard drive, but ... Holy cow ... my dad woke me up this morining and he fixed it. A blue box that said windows came up with a username and password on it (not the normal login screen). I told him to type my name and not put a password in it and hit enter ... WOOT!!!!! It works now ... i changed my login screen to the default because that is why it didn't work in the first place (bad login screen) and my dad yelled at me a bit ... and now everything is ok Thanks for your help though I have no clue how he did this ... he said he pressed OK like 500 times ... and then it went away ... sort of dumb luck I guess
Lol, that happened to me once and my dad bought me a new faster computer and I re-installed window;s and it workd fine.... I didn't know I could have done that.
The only bad thing is that he woke me up at 7:00 AM to ask me what my password was and I don't have one :censored: ... but its fixed now ... so thats ok.
That's why I keep a copy of Knoppix at hand. I backup the entire Windoze CD on the HD, then burn a CD if I need it. Gooo LINUX/KNOPPIX!
