    Yeh, well pc users don't really haver a choice? What other os are we going to buy?

    My friend gave me a bootable vista disk, I'm going to give it a try when I get back from my hockey tourny on monday.

    you need a radeon 9600 or a 6200 to run areo if I am not mistaken.

    True that... Yes, Microsoft is getting VERY evil nowadays... I think I might as well switch over to Mac or Linux...

    well you can stick to xp or wait until MAC OSX is officially launched on pc, it will be trust me.
    Dont try and install vista on a new partition on your xp machine. The vista install corrupted my xp install.

    I assume you tried installing the beta DeF? Is Vista already released yet?

    Vista isn't released, sheesh... I wouldn't waist my time with the whole VISTA scene anyways. If you want something NICE and SECURE get Windows Server 2003. I run that on one of the partitions I have, UNSTOPABLE... as for the DOS deal, I thought 2000 and below DEPENDENT on DOS, NT ME Semi, and XP Not at all... s'aight if I am wrong though.

    2000 is NT, NT collectively refers to XP and 200 along with some older iterations which they are based off of.

    yep I have beta 1 from September 05. No its still in BETA, beta 2 will be out soon.

    Ahhh thanks bro... Still, I would never buy Microsoft's ----ty OS for a game and besides, I think Halo was overrated. Meh, I think Sierra kicks their asses around like a football... Go Half Life 3
