    Hey!

Wanted to know where I can download Windows 7 Themes from and change it ... it can be a Visualization Preset or something that I have to use with a Program or something else...

I want to customize mine to something like what Ravr did with his : http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/317...s_7_by_ravr.png

Any ideas or suggestions where to look?

Googling sucks cuz too many results!

    Thanks,
    Z

hehe Thanks DC, I already know how to do that for Win7.

Was wondering if anyone knew where I can download some great looking themes. Win7themes.net has some ok ones but the one I posted up there that one looks cool with different icons and such...

"Easy. First, you need to either patch your system or use UxStyle. Personally I suggest UxStyle. Its fast easy to use and install, and provides all the functionality of patching with, almost, none of the risk. You can find this software here: http://uxstyle.com/

Once you've installed that you'll want to find you a theme. You can go to DeviantArt to look for themes. However, you're looking for a specific one: http://ap-graphik.deviantart.com/art/Soft7...ows-7-144948406

Once you've downloaded and Unrar'd the file move soft7.theme & soft7 folder) into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and click (or double click) on soft7.theme. This will change the theme of the computer.

The start button and Icons are separate. To apply the Start button(Download: http://ap-graphik.deviantart.com/art/steel...ows-7-141635507 ) make sure you have administration powers over your computer. Go to C:\Windows\ and Right click on your Explorer.exe. Rename it Explorer.original. Open the file you just downloaded and move the Exporer.exe file to your C:\Windows\ and restart your computer.

The above is risky so don't do it if you don't feel you can accomplish it. If something goes wrong you may have to perform a system restore, or download this program: http://snowbird.en.softonic.com/ Which is a lightweight explorer alternative. Its best to have this just in case you ------ up.

To use this program if you screw up press ctrl+alt+esc and open the task manager. Press File and New Task (Run) and insert this text into the box: \Program Files\snowbird\Snowbird.exe . When you've opened the program navigate to your C:\Windows\ folder and rename the explorer.exe and change the Explorer.original to Explorer.exe and restart.

Icons I can't really help you with. Its basically going from one program to another changing the icons by right clicking on the program and hitting properties. Then you go to shortcut & press "Change Icon" navigate to the folder with your icons and click on the one you'd like to use. The specific Icon pack you're looking for is: http://brsev.deviantart.com/art/Token-128429570

    Hope that helps.
