who do you think will win the concle war give a reason. I think the Nintendo Wii will win because it is only 250$, and Microft is backing nintendo up saying that people should buy the Nintendo Wii insted of the PS3. Also The Nintendo Wii has that download thingy where you can download games from old systems like the NES, SNES, and the N64. so what do you think?

i was gonna get ps3 only for the remake final fantasy 7 game but its already out for ps2 so i think i might just go for a wii. (even though wii is a GAY name)

i am getting the PS3 but i still think that Wii will win fallowed by X-box 360 even thought i hate x-box but the PS3 is reailly expencave
this is exactly what happend like 6 years ago when the ps2 nintendo gamecube and the xbox first came out....
I think PS3 and the Wii are going to be extremely close in sales, and the XBOX 360 will be in last, but still not have done so bad in sales since it was released so much longer beforethe PS3 and Wii.
I've been following the E3 convention being aired on G4, and theres alot of coverage going on for all three of the console systems. However I have noticed, that they seem to really be hyping up the Xbox vs PS3, and kind of leaving the Wii with a little less coverage. That being said, I watched an interview today, with a game designer who is designing games for all the platforms except Wii and he brought up an interesting point about the hardware being used in the PS3 and the Xbox. While I didnt fully understand it all, the PS3 has a better high end performance drive the the Xbox, but because of the processor type or setting or something like that, that the PS3 chose to use, it makes it a bit more complicated I guess, for game designers. Also, the PS3 is including HDTV capabilities, while the Xbox has clearly decided that if a person wishes to have that, then they must go out and buy extra modifications for their system. Why would you just not include it as a default feature with HDTV becoming the big thing for television. I mean really. So really, performance wise, they arent too far off from each other, and what it is really going to come down to, is who can offer the games that everyone is going to want to play. Wii is bringing back alot of old school games done new. Their busting out the favorites, Mario, Zelda, Sonic. That will be what saves them in my opinion. Their controller, with the motion detection is nice, but with as much effort as you have to put into moving your body, I think that may hurt them in the long run. I mean come on, we all know most hardcore gamers want to sit on their butts and not have to move as often, especially for extended periods of time. PS3 on the other hand, also has the motion detecting controller, and doesnt require you to have to do as much motion as the Wii. Plus, their controller is wireless. Bluetooth is an amazing technology. I can go clear into another room, and still keep that bluetooth connection. Xbox...well, they dont seem to offer any of the nice motion detecting controllers that are certainly going to catch consumers attention. That is going to hurt them. Again though, it really goes back to the games being offered. Xbox got rights from GTA so they can get GTA 4 on their system and not just on the PS3. PS3 has a new Final Fantasy coming out though. Theres really alot of great new games for both of the systems. I feel that Wii is once again going to be left in the dust. Nintendo used to be a great system, everyone used to want one, but as the years went on, they kind of dropped it and started falling behind. Xbox will come in second and I think as always the PS3 will continue to dominate the market.
ps3 is 99% going to win tbh the only reason why microsoft are backing is because ps3 is taking 360 money
it sucks that the 360 will have not invested into to a motion sensor caontroller BUT remember HALO 3 IS COMING
oh joy? Halo 2 was so anticipated... and what for? The only thing it really incorporated was a better MP, more weapons, slightly better gfx... nothing special, alot of people were pretty disappointed with Halo 2 after the release of Halo 1, they really arent that different. Halo 3 is even less anticipated except by hardcore halo fans.
