Rediculous and a bias. To say that you base your purchase of a console solely on graphics is a black mark on your record as a gamer. You buy a console because it has the most appealing games to you, not because of the count of the framerate or how many polygons can be rendered. Also, for you movie example, people still watch King Kong, To Kill A Mockingbird, Slim Pickings, The Godfater, etc. They are classic movies with dated effects, but they are still some of the best of all time. And I see you have FFVII in your sig. Isn't that someone hypocritical to your arguement? Not only was PSX/PSOne inferior graphically to N64, but the game by today's standards is dated incredibly dated 3D wise. I guess that game sucks now, eh?
The only time that grapnics can make a game is when it's something like MGS, where the cutscenes are like 10+ minutes long,lol.
Although the controller in itself is a huge step forward the consoles undoing will be the graphics which the majority look for. Gameplay is the main thing in my book, i still play half-life 1 every now and again. graphics are terrible for todays standards on that.
no they say when they took those pics the Wii WAS just in the making now the Wii is like a XBox1 GFX lol get PS3 or XB360
Those are the oldest pictures. Go look up SMG, MP3, TP, even Rayman Raving Rabbids.......when you pic the worst out of the games, it will look like it will suck....
i dont think those are the final screenshots those graphics are worse than gamecube graphics and to me gameplay is more important than graphics
As nintendo has stated, the Wii is not next-gen. So no next-gen gaphics for the Wii. Also people here/everywhere say that "don't jugde Wii's graphics before you play it", then why do they judge ps3 before they play it? Hypocritism at it's best. :tongue:

graphics are cool and all, but i really don't give a damn as long as the game is fun. the Wii graphics look good enough anyways -i would rather play a fun game with bad graphics than a bad game with good graphics.
Wii is more focused on gameplay and control wise than Graphics. But yeh, they do suck pretty bad, still cool though.
