I dont like the Wii simply because it mostly has little kids games, and also people are trying to substitute playing Wii with actually going outdoors. Just dumb in my opinion.
It is not a substitute for playing outdoors. Today's younger generation are a bunch of druggies, video game/computer nerds, TV addicts, or people who love to do their homework. Not many people play outside anymore. When I was a kid there was games of kick the can and ball tag out on my culdesac every weekend. Nowadays, I see a kid playing basketball once in a while. This is so kids get some sort of exercise, while having fun playing video games. I am a huge WII fan. TP, MP8 ftw!!!
I understand that not everybody does this instead of playing outdoors, but the day I heard news reported covering the Wii and saying how it was a substitute to playing outdoors, I almost ---- myself. Kids these days just dont play outside anymore, and it makes me mad. Im 16 and Im outside almost everyday either playing basketball, skating, or any other sports or activites I want to do. I also take a lot of bikerides. It just makes me sad that kids are playing more video games than they are exercising or playing outdoors. No wonder the US is like the most overweight country in the world. =\
Wii FTW I can't decide between LoZ TP and Super Paper Mario for best game so far on the Wii. They're two of the best games I've ever played. MP 8 is good but could have used more games. Can't wait for MP3 and SSBB. Wii is already number 1 in sales by far, and should take it even further with those two.
not my kind of game..i find myself playing WAY more gamecube games i borrowed from my friend then any wii games...ill be happy once metroid prime 3, ssbb, and super mario galaxy is out =)
my friends has got it. but it only goes as far as the stick controller for me. tennis and boxing. and golf are way fun. + working out also xD
I'll join haha. i was trying to perfect my swing in wii sports baseball and i actually burned some calories (dont get me wrong, im in great shape). it doesnt replace real exercise, but it definitely gets the blood flowing. i can't wait for battalion wars wii, mario strikers charged (when it hits the states), SSBB, and super mario galaxy.
