Why do you argue, or debate about religion, or about anything on the forum? Is it to gain posts? Just to argue, because you actually believe in it and care that strongly for it, or is it you want to prove someone wrong? When we debate about religion, for me, it's because I really do care about my religion. I know abit about other religions so it's kind of fun to debate about them all. About other things, for me, is just because I feel people look moronic when they post on purely opinion and passion. (other then religion, seeing how that is ALL opinion and passion)
if I join in a discussion, it's mostly because I don't have anything better to do, or to defend a statement I completely agree with
because you actually believe in it and care that strongly for it I haven't gotten into a debate yet on here but, on other forums, I have and that is why I do it. I debate cause it is what I believe in. I do respesct other peoples opinion, I just don't have to like 'em
Alot of people need to wake up and know that life outside their fences is not all happy and shiny as portrayed to them on tv or w/e they get their info from. And there is alot of misunderstanding, prejudice and racism on this forum so I try to do something about it.
People have different opinions about other things. Mainly the reason why people argue on the forums is to prove someone wrong. Though the forums probably would be boring without debates about religion, politics or other things. I would have to say people shouldn't get so worked up about someone else's opinions.
Generally, to correct people who have got the "Facts" straight, because when people argue like idiots it really annoys me. Not sure P:
well....cause i love debatin! all my arguments are honest, but i love makin em. debate season just started, and you can see that by some of my recent posts lolo. i personally find most to all of the debates/facts/arguments posted on these forums are incredibly laughable, but i still post my views. loudly. someones gota straighten yall out!
Just like you I debate because I know about my religion. I wan't others to understand too that they must'nt critisize on others religion.. Nothing else.
I have yet to see a sensible debate here. It always leads to someones feelings getting hurt and flaming insues. Everyone has a right to their opinons, dont bash them if they are wrong, just post proof that they are. Dont just state your opinon and not hear theirs.
i usually debate because i feel strongly about it. it's nice to see other people's opinions though. although, i don't really debate religion.
