Sorry for this, but I found this kind of funny. Even though, it should like a bloody creepy sight if you wake up and something that is actually damn small is so close to you, which makes it look it has utterly big proportions
Remember that that 'attack' was probably because the roach was scared of you and defending itself - how would you like a roach over 20 times the size of you picking you up by your head?...Exactly. =P "Insects are more scared of us than we are of them." (I had arachnophobia when I was around 6, and my mum always used to tell me that. I just kept telling myself that whenever I saw a spider, and yeah, the fear just [eventually] went away...I like spiders now. :3). I can see how it would be pretty bad if it was in your face when you woke up though.
xD ya it is pretty funny I will admit And it wasn't small! lol, American ------roaches can be pretty big You have a point there, I certainly would have a heart attack if a roach 20 times my size picked me up.. Maybe I could try repeating that myself when I see another.. It's just so scary to see these ugly things crawling or flying.. I really don't know why people like me have phobias of insects that can't really do much to us.. Sometimes it just the repulsive nature of the insect. I for one have allergies so the last thing I need is a roach on my pillow considering they can cause asthma.
I woke up startled one time because my girlfriend was staring at my face. It was creepy and I thought she was a murderer. I'm afraid of murderers. Bugs, not so much.
I'm not afraid of bugs, I'm afraid of toxins, and disease. that said it's mostly the filthy bugs I dislike. I don't really fear them so much as I just kill them. and FYI your entire story demonstrates that you are in fact a -----.
