    white means there registered, premium members are red,yellow means donator

    its something to do with advertising.

    yes, that's what i mean. advertising? the other sites advertising on GR or GR advertising on them?

    They are here for the ads that run. If you notice on anyboard with ads, they generally have a member with the ad name.

    Those google and jeeves things are BOTS they search the forum for content information, and it gets listed on their search engine,

    Its how google and other search engines get information/CONTENT of your site, therefore when you search for something you get the result that the BOTS looked up
