oooh, here we go again.... ive played cs 1.6 since the earlier versions, ive played it for about 3years, so im not gonna stop playing it because they have made another one with better graphics. 1.6 may not have the latest graphics or AI, but it has the best gameplay and seems to have perfect hitboxes (compared to css). also why do nealy all the world cs tornuments still play in cs 1.6 ? (like WEG, CPL....and so on). the reson most people prefer css is because they never played 1.6, or they did but were put off from the nowday outdated graphics, but when they came out, they were top of the range. the ORIGINAL cs change the face of online fps's, and for that reason will allways be the best and most famus, it produced legands like HeatoN, Potti, Spawn....and so on. from that, i cant be assed to go on anymore. ~ToothpicK
Source worked on my friend's laptop which only had a 32mb card, the graphics were turned down though.
I actually love Source, and I've been playing CS for years (since 1.2 or 1.3, I think), but I still find myself playing 1.6 more often. Not that I even play that much, but my clan's source server is always empty, and I can no longer be bothered playing on servers where I'm not in a position to deal with hackers / griefers. The hitboxes were funky though.
I have CS:S but its gay and doesnt work even though I met the recommended requirements, so I was wondering - how can I get cs 1.6? Is it like condition zero or just like normal cs?
