Which One Is More Grammatically Correct?

    ok I got into an arguement about this -.-

    tell me which one is more grammatically correct.

    ok we wanted to say " You are very lucky! "

    one of us said, "how lucky you are."

    the other said "how lucky are you."

    tell me which one is more grammatically correct :D ths alot

    how lucky you are is more correct, cuz how luck are you is stated in the form of a question, how lucky You ARE is stating that they are lucky

    Both could be considered correct I suppose, depending on emphasis placement.

    No offense or anything, but to all of you who said both, you are completely incorrect. Pete and Beatdown are correct, the other statement is a question which makes it incorrect.

    first one is the most used, the second though technically correct isn't typically used in todays speech, go back 300 years and it's syntax would be more acceptable.

    and the third is a question, not a statement.
