    Im sure this will be helpful for all new to the 3D programs. What do you think is the best and most user-friendly program to use?

    I find that Bryce is really easy to use, because of its nice graphical interface...

    If your very comfortable with PS and following tutorials I would fully reccomend C4D. It takes some effort but once you get familiar with the tools it becomes 2nd nature quick.

    Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I have to say that it depends on what you want to do.
    If you want to make those wicked abstract 3d things then C4D or Bryce are good
    If you want to do Landscapes then Bryce or Vue d'esprit are good (also terragen, but vegetation is absent in the "free" version)
    People = Poser...
    so the software you choose is gonna depend on what you want to do and how much you want to spend...
