Imo rock is much much much better, i only like a couple rap or other songs.
Rock counts as pretty much anything thats not Rap or Pop or R&B or similiar to these.

Voted Rock, but I really listen more to metal, hardcore and emocore.
Only like a couple of r&b artists and very few rappers.

    Rock, definitely for me....

But by rap (which should really be hiphop, as rap is a verb and not a genre name) do you mean mainstream or underground? Because mainstream, with "artists" (though calling them that is a travesty) like 50 Cent, is pure unadulterated crap, but underground, with artists like Immortal Technique, MF Doom, etc, is actually quite good.

Obviously, since most of the forum is white.

Anyways, I listen to both, but i'd rather listen to old school rap than rock

Geez... I won't say which is better, cause both requires skills in different perspectives. As long as it sounds good and soothes the soul, I'm all in for it.

no offence to all of the rap listeners but ur music is ----, its just worthless ----. its all fake, i cant stand seing my friends from when i was little start to wear ----ing echo and sean paul, and talk all ghetto and ----. rap makes u look like a dirtbag and it makes u think yur ghetto lol. take it from me... being ghetto is not something u want to be proud of, if u ever met a true gangster they would say they hate living in the ghetto. so why do people insist on listening to this crap and acting ghetto?? because thats what the rappers say... and those rappers are full of ----. especially the ones like 50 cent, the game, eminem, and tupac. even if they did grow up in the ghetto they are justn trying to brainwash you tards into listening to their music. its all about the money guys, not the music/ when u guys are mature enough and grow ----ing brains then u will come back to this post and read it and say, wow i do look stupid with my echo clothes and my bling bling...
