lol why do you need a forum to decide which pod you should get? there are 2 major kinds of people that have mp3 players. The ones that like converting all of their lossless cds into one player or the one who downloads music off of P2P and goes with the crowd. If I had to guess I would say you were option number 2 so go with the nano
I'd say go with the nano, I got one, it is working well for me. Big deal, some scratches, but are you getting an mp3 player for eye candy or music? I actually dropped it twice and it is still doing great.
Listen there is no point in getting a 4GB iPod nano for $250 when you can get a 30 GB iPod for $300... only $50 more. I just bought a 30 GB iPod and it's shipped already. I should be getting it within the next few days.
I have an iPod video, had it for about a month now... and I have to say, it's amazing. Now, I'm not an avid iPod-er, so I don't have that much music (7 Gigs by iPod standards isn't much) but the video part is so great. At first, I didn't think it would do much, but once you download this one program (called Vidorea, I think) it leads to endless possibilities. I have over five movies so far (which I ripped from my DVDs) and lots of TV episodes (which again, I got from Season DVDs) So, if you honestly want video, or really like music then get the iPod Video
Are you sure it is called Vidorea [Moose]? I am interested in getting it. I just bough a whole bunch of DVD's during the major sales on Friday and it would be awesome to have some on my iPod that I am soon to get. I can't find Vidorea on Google is why I am asking.
