Well, ive never played the game, but since I play mages in all the rpg's I am in, I would probably be either the Necromancer, or the Elementalist, assuming the Elementalist is your average mage.

All they do is spread out real quick and come back, it's nothing major, but people that aren't smart enough to figure out that it still works quit using it, lol.

The only character I really play in GW anymore is my Elementalist / Mesmer, and that's just to do a bit of farming. I got 2 pieces of my 15k Aeromancer armour before I took a break again .. shexiest armour ever. Assassin was a lot of fun in the Factions weekend though!

My main character is a Warrior/Necro, I like to smash my way through anything that gets in my way.

W/E can pack a massive smash with a hammer.

Knock 'em down with earthquake and hammer skills then hit with aftershock them and basically... they are teh pwnt. Its great at soloing 1 enemy.

That one attack sequence can cause between 100-300+ damage per enemy. It is great :)

I'm an E/Me, but I skipped a load of missions in the Wilds (2-3), and just used Henchies for the rest. Sad to say but for a mission that I'm getting exasperated with, I'd rather have a henchy's reliability than other players lack of chat / afk mission leeching / whining / suicide charging (though henchies do that sometimes..). That said, at that point I was getting a bit bored of the game again, so I just wanted to make some progress quickly.

For PvE Nothing beats a N/Mo.

    W/Mo does :)

you can bring your N/Mo and I can bring my W/Mo in PvE or PvP and ill wipe you on the floor.

I will admit tho, a N/Mo in the middle of a group of undead = pure and utter ownage. But I think I prefer Mo/N for group PvE, but in solo PvE I could see the N/Mo owning.

You can't guarantee W/Mo would beat N/Mo, trust me, my N/Mo does more damage, and does it quicker, than my W/Mo ;)

EDIT: They're both build for farming, so they're both meant to deal damage and to deal it quick, obviously :P
