Where To Take This?

So I started this tag just now, and I am at a complete block. I have no idea where to take this? Do you guys have any ideas?

I like the -------realism....and depending on who its for...you shouldn't have to do any real tweaks just push the realism aspect of it a bit more....and give a lil more contrast

 

Some sort of firey effects + maybe some light source

 

Here is a new edition, but I think it is too cluttered and messy.

Also, Killah, I was trying to loosely follow your Genesis tag, but I failed.
How did you get that shiny streak up from the sword? Was it a brush or a C4D?

 

Im liking what your doing, but the render just doesnt fit with the background. The coloring and contrast between them is off, making them look like they dont belong. Maybe add a Orange to Purple gradient map, on soft light at 50 %.

 

Yeah, thanks for the ideas. I am thinking of changing the background/stock so they compliment each other better.

 

You could develop from the sword, it could be a aura around the character+the sword.
