What's With The Prem Member/mod Tags?

I was just wondering why they are white. I mean it's a dark colored board, and I think they stand out a little too much. Maybe that's just me, but I think it would be interesting to see what they would look like with a darker background then white. Or give people the option.

Just a random idea/rant.

I mean prem member/mod/donator/admin/retired staff ETC. I just didn't feel like typing all of them out......

 

i never really had a prob/ thought about it. i actually like the look of them right now. thats me though. + it matches with my avatar lol

 

yea but its a black/dark gray forum, with a blue banner, I just don't see where the white come's from.

There is plenty of white around the forum? On all the small bars there is a large section (if not majority) of white, all button are white and the text is white The top Nav bar is also white, as is the name on the banner. Well, it's not exactly white but a pearly metallic colour, but thats the same for all of them.

Personally I think the contrast works well. It draws your eye to certain parts of the forum, such as navigation, or just adds better continuity throughout. The white on the Rank images, to me, serve the purpose of highlighting Staff and those that have paid subscriptions to the site.

Plus, they look smexy I wouldn't change them!

 

The member banners are fairly new and won't be changed for some time yet, i personally like them and think they fit in with the skin nicely.

If you don't like them, just ignore them.
