Why can't everybody just get along, come on people we are one great community here, everyone should be helping everyone
Word I think the reason people stopped giving away things for free is because no one is thankful. I gave away a template, I got 1+ rep and two other comments, whereas over 50 People viewed it yet said nothing. That gets me upset, I don't really care about the rep, I would like the comments on how to improve though
Correction: we USED to be a great community, when i was a noob here myself, everyone was nice. seriously nice, the kind of ppl that actually try to get to know you. now everyone here is just mean, they flame you just for giving them some bad Critique on their sig or what-not so i'll just flame them from the start and skip all the the precedings.
If people can help the lesser experienced people in what they do, the lesser experienced people can start putting stuff into the community, but they don't want to 'cause we don't help, or we critisize them, making them afraid to put up their artwork. It only takes a short amount of time to at least point someone in the right direction. theres my say.
well i was here early april - BFTP gave away a 350 credit sig he bought - that was huge then and girly wasn't so popular psd's were going free anywhere but now its all about the credits - blah - 100 credit tutorial from peg got him rich and 2 guys bought the account for $180 dollars. to me its not fair inflation of prices are killing this site
well personally i said this b4 but i think people sell render packs and psd packs and tuts cos no one really appreciates them anymore ... you either here been cut b4 no one wants to really comment on them or even credit u for them same with brushes and tuts i personally are not worried bout credits and give my stuff for free but i have only received about 80 - 100 creds for all the renders etc ive done... but also u always see its been done b4 .. so what if it has its still a render by repetedly saying that to someone who is renering a lot will put them off eventually like why bother u kno
yeah :] i have shared atleast 8 or more tuts already..and when i get comments.. they usually say.. "quote on quote" doesn't that sound rude? or make u thin why the hell did i post this? and yes at one point i was selffish, im now giving my brushs away now and ect giving psds to my friends..and why am i doing this? because i know i made up the style and ect, and i know the person couldn't posibbly get better then me, or figure it out, cause there are extra filters ect used..even people can figure out psds. cause of the layers.. but theres actually more to it if uy think about.. or the ones i ave ogtten or the ones i do... and for the smudging topic.. everyone knows about that no need to share ist already abused.. like normal.. cheers
and im tired of seeing "i will abuse this" as uv said. you see so many of the same damn sigs same damn renders same damn styles - which is getting old originality would be great photoshop has hundreds of filters - get original just imo look @ girly - she has her own style - no one is as ORIGINAL as her - which is why she is so high in the books for everyone i try to find my own style - or a style not used often - which keeps me on the dl(down low) people who experiment things and have their own work - not 'WHORED' styles - are successful - thats why i like to keep my work like this and the whole - NL,DE,TS, W/E is getting old aswell lol - all NL have same work, all DE have same work blah - my point is: get original - and keep it to yourself
nah your gonna have to egt to know nl.. we are all created in our own way.. but! it may come it the same as others..thats exactly why i dont desin lil " signature" anymore.. i do vectors and bigger pieces now to seek my style :] ALTHOUGH signutres are fun.. there will never get u anywere.. thats why i have stoppped.. I suck at making tutorials... I merge too much. xD I used to talk to alot of newbs asking advice and I was happy to give it, back when I knew people but as of now... I don't know, times change I guess.

Same style? Sorry, but only ignorance would lead someone to think NL members have the "same style". Go look up BladeMarth, htid, Fazen, myself, Hell, blackfuse, verve/everest, Girly, Cham, popoffkid, etc etc I could go on... point is, we all have a distinct style, but if you think we're all on the same team because our work looks the same try looking a little closer next time instead of generalizing us just because we all have the same avatar.
