What's The Difference Between...

Can somebody help me out here?
What's the difference between these terms?
Oh, and sorry if there's already a thread talking about it.

but now, somebody suggested we use the term "TIGS". i personally still would like to stick with sigs

well i think it would be more proper to call them tags. as sig is signature space and tag would be the small graphics in sigs.

 

I say just call them what you want, as there is no "Official" term, and some people seem to think that saying "Tag" is cool...

I call them sigs tho...since it IS you "Signature" for all you posts...

yes, it makes a difference. On the net, when you search for a sig tutorial, more results appear than when you are searching for a tag tutorial. Maybe is because sig is more commonly used.

 

i always call it sig.... tag reminds me more about "dog"tags you wear around your neck or graphitti than it reminds me of something graphical
